In the past couple of hours we received an e-announce from Warner Home Video for the July 29th release of Witchblade - The Complete Series. As you know, the studio issued a press release yesterday for this title, filling us in on all the details for this long-awaited package.
Today's e-announce indicates that there will be one additional bonus item that wasn't mentioned in the press release. Besides the two Featurettes ("Bringing the Blade to Life" and "Wielding the Blade") and the Original Casting Sessions (for Yancy Butler, Anthony Cistaro, David Chokachi, Eric Etebari, and Will Yun Lee), there will also be an item called "Witchblade: Gabriel's Philosophical Insights".
It also confirms that this release will be heavily promoted at this year's San Diego Comic Con, running July 24-27. We imagine that will also be the case for another long-awaited comic book-related TV-DVD, Birds of Prey - The Complete Series (which Warner announced this morning).
The e-announce also has our very first look at the cover art for this 7-DVD package, which of course is what you're all REALLY wanting to see, right? Okay, check it out...and then go ahead and pre-order it from Amazon, where you can lock in your copy right now for just $48.99 after discount!
